Photographic collage

Throughout 2022, I collected old photos from flea markets in Beijing, Vancouver, and Rio de Janeiro, which led to a small series of collages. Just as collage allows the coexistence of multiple realities. The result is amorphous images that are, at the same time, very real, creating a tension between recognizable and distorted forms, accentuating the ghostly nature of abandoned records.
